Shirley Kazuyo Muramoto-Wong’s “Hidden Legacy” (2014, 57 min.) tells the story of an unexpected triumph of the human spirit: Even as Japanese American families were interned during World War II, traditional arts flourished, helping to restore cultural pride and honor, and creating beauty in bleak surroundings.
